COD2 or BF2?

I've only played the demo of BF2 but I've heard good things about COD2 as well, are they vastly different? I loved the demo of BF2 today been a great laugh even if I do suck royally anyone who has both got a recommendation? it'd mostly be for online carnage, not too interested in the single player side of things for it.

You can tell I'm a 360 noob completely forgot that there might be a COD2 demo which I'm now downloading

when on the 360 are we possibly playing people on PC or only XBox users? personally I find FPS far easier on the PC.. which is what I'm asking I don't want to play against people with a huge advantage
