Hi, was playing COD2 and on some missions, I get distorted graphics. Its like the map getting cut or something. Its hard to explain. It happens when you move ** mouse around, then the map starts to look like its getting cut or something. Anyone know how to fix it?
 
Sounds like graphics tearing...?

Does it happen on just certain maps / that game?

Have you tried perhaps a different driver, or perhaps altered in-game settings? I know that sometimes certain games have problems where if Shadows are set to HIGH, for example, they can cause problems. Just a bug.

Are your card temps ok?
 
Yes it only happens on COD2 and on 3 maps now( not sure abt this but so far only COD2). In game settings all max. Yea I think the temperature r ok, its within the safe limit.

I will try to use a different driver version. Just a question, when you run driver cleaner pro, there r options related to nvidia such as, nforce chipset, nvidia wdm, nvidia and nvidia stereo. So which one do I select to clean?

I do Nvidia WDM and Nvidia. :)

The Nvidia Stereo you could do, but you won't have them drivers and the nforce is obviously for an Nvidia Motherboard Chipset. :)
 
You know whats funny? I exit the game, enter again and the whole thing is gone. Im guessing its either dodgy driver version or gfx running warmer than average

Sounds like it. Perhaps clean the HS on the graphics card and perhaps use some AS5 on it?
