COD2 using winXP 64 (nv driver help)

any of you playing COD 2 on an XP64 install? which drivers work best on it?
im using an nvidia 6600gt and 77.72 and it seems ok but dx9 support in the game, i did use the lastest but couldnt see the screen after the intro movie, it was just black.

so to prevent me try lots of drivers i thought i would delve into all your knoledge

I'm gonna assume that your using an AMD Athlon64 (or X2) rather than the Intel Xeon

I use 82.12 under 64-bit windows on an AMD X2, CoD2 is a litte touchy but generally runs ok.

There are issues with games and dual cores, are you running an X2 as well?

its an XP3500 venice
i tried 8212 and the one before and got the black screen after the intro with both
