Awwwwwwwwwwwwwwwwwwwwwwwwwwwwwwwwwww my gawwwwwwwd, this level is doing my heading big time :(

Veteran so far has been one harsh level after the other, but with perseverance, Ive managed to get through it.

Not with this level though.

No matter what I do, I get munched by the friendly nazis bullets.

Ive just climbed the cliff via the rope, and now am mega stuck.

Any help would be appreciated guys - Im not too far from completing this now! :D

CoD2? Blimey, I can't even remember that far back :p

Smoke is your friend, that's about the only advice I can give.

IIRC - Plenty of smoke and run for the bunker, it is quite a hard level until you find your feet and realise where you need to be heading.

The top of the cliff is the easy bit, its when you get through the bunker and come out where it gets ridiculously hard, and practically impossible without smokes. Once you reach the checkpoint your home and dry though, this was the hardest bit of the game for me (although clearing out the 5 buildings just before you have to sniper the mortar crews is quite tough too).

get to the top of the cliff and turn right, into the trench and shoot your way through. Its a hard start to the level, but imo the level gets way easier after this.

Ok, I get that far, but when I come out of the trench, near the big ass gun, I get minced by people I cant even see. What shall I do from there?

Horrible level on Veteran. All I remember is the guys shouting "The guns sir, they're not here".

I must have heard this 100 times before finally getting through. Completing COD2 on Veteran is the hardest gaming experience I have come across. I was mentally and physically exhausted by the time I finally did it!

that makes me want to go back and try it on veteran now :p

i always do games on normal first then ill leave them a bit and go back to them, might go back to this a bit earlier than i normally would :)

Christ , cant even get to the 1st checkpoint....

This levels really testing my patience :D
That bit took me a solid two days of anger to pass and I remember it well, because I had no sodding smoke grens :p

Stick to the left most part of the map and pick of the soldiers one by one until you can see a goit manning a mortar thingy, and there should be a bunker to it's right with a big crater between you and the bunker. Run to the crater and lob smoke grens for cover and run to that bunker as if Keeley Hazell is inside nekkid. That should do it :D

Agreed. I almost ended up hating the game because of it. I haven't even finished CoD3's veteran because the AI is so pathetic that it's just impossible and frustrating.

I remember doing this on Veteran, after you climb the rope and you have to follow the little path. I remember it wasn't very easy to follow as times you'd have to run off across somewhere to a building.

It's good once it's over. I'm doing COD3 + 4 on veteran now. :)
