I really enjoyed COD4 and COD3.

Is it worth getting COD2 for a bit of retro gaming?

Hmmmmmmm perhaps a few years ago.

But I find it far too arcadey when compared with COD4. I.e. lots of bunnying hoping, exploits etc.

it feels more like COD4 than COD3 does though.

Yes it is. It's better than Call of Duty 3 by a long way, and I would say as good as Call of Duty 4. It's still a brilliant game, so I'd definitely say yes.

Just seen it for £10, people were saying it's still popular online. Whats it like graphically?

not much worse than 3. In fact I prefer the graphics on it than 3, they're a bit..........lighter somehow.

CoD3 is made by Treyarch, CoD2 and CoD4 made by Infinity Ward, so it has a different style.
I think CoD2 still looks great. I played through it again at the start of January and it was superb.

Yea its a brilliant game - played it on the pc ages ago and played it on the 360 not all that long ago.

Word of advice, if you want to enjoy the game, DONT play on veteran on the 1st go!!!

You will jump off the nearest cliff in fustration!!

Play it on veteran on the 2nd play through for one of the most challenging/annoying games of all time.

I disagree, I say go for Veteran straight away

. It's most enjoyable on that mode and is very rewarding.

I have played every COD on veteran first time. I played COD3 on normal for a bit when i first got it, it was too easy and i found it quite repetitive.

I have also done COD3 on veteran, some reason it didnt save the achievement though

I played CoD 2 when I first got my 360 not too long after launch and really enjoyed it. Never finished it though 'cos I had already done so on the PC. I have since played CoD4 learnt how to play the series properly so decided to go back to it.

Played through it on Veteran and thoroughly enjoyed it, I found it just as rewarding and enjoyable to play as 4 even now. I'd highly recommend it!

CoD2 was the best of the series imo. Vet mode also the hardest, most satisfying of the lot.

Aye CoD2 was hard, but I've found CoD3 harder. Not played 4 yet.

CoD2 is miles better than #3

COD2 is a brilliant gaming experience.

COD3 was harder than 2 or 4 on Veteran.

Imo in difficulty:

Mile High Club > COD3 > COD2 > COD4

I would, really enjoyable game, Veteran is very challenging as well. Far better than 3.
