Hi guys,

I'm trying to connect to a game on Xbox Live in COD3 and it keeps bringing up the message "Unable to connect to all players".

It did it last night and is doing the same now. I've tried searching for servers, it lists them but whichever one I choose, it throws up the same error.

On the first night that I got the Xbox, it was working fine and I played for about an hour with no issues.

Anyone with COD3 who could check theirs for me?

Please help, as I miss my multiplayerness :(

Hmmm, I haven't tried GRAW actually.

The router is upstairs. I get my internet connection from it wirelessly, which is then shared from my computer to the Xbox.

Sucky way of doing it, but it's the only way at the moment :( I'll see if I can put the Xbox in the DMZ, should be able to if I keep track of its IP address.

GRAW seems ok.

It's found and connected to the game.

Yep, it's loading the map now.

edit... It just kicked me off saying 'Game is no longer available'

Cheers Scooby.

I did a test before and it came up as strict. I'll have a play with the router settings and see what I can do.

:)

Is it safe to put the Xbox in the DMZ?

I don't know, I had so much fun! It's certainly much more relaxing than playing CS:S on the PC... after which I used to be fed up of getting killed and basically sucking at the game that I was angry with it, lol.

After an hour of COD, I was getting well into it. I agree, the maps are huge, but once I got used to the layout, the spawn points weren't majorly bad and I was able to find my way back to the action quite easily.

Only thing that did bug me about it, was that I was in a server with 3 other people for about 10 minutes. After that, it started to fill up and there were soon 15 people on either team. So much fun.

dannyraul, cheers for that, will do it now :) Can the Xbox be set up for a static IP? Don't want to have to change the NAT settings everytime it changes its IP. Will forwarding those two ports fix the problem in all games?

Ok, I think it's working.

Due to my router being connected to my computer wirelessly, and then me having to share the connection to my Xbox, I couldn't just put the Xbox in the DMZ or port-forward the relevant ports to the Xbox. My router's IP range is set on 192.168.1.x whereas ICS leases IPs with the prefix 192.168.0.x.

I tried a few things to no avail, but have just put my computer in the DMZ and the Xbox is now showing NAT status as 'Open'.

Just going to try COD now.
