COD3 : Assault achievement

Whats the best level to complete the challenge of completing a mission using only assault rifles?

Also I assume using grenades is a no no?

I've had a few goes today and didnt manage to do it, Cheers.

(trying to get them all before COD4 comes along)

Assault Trooper is the name of it.

On the second mission of the game mate, you can use the BAR for this unlock.

Edit dont forget you can melee

Cheers, I think i threw a few grenades last time. Oops

Just got 200point online, don't think Ill bother with anymore, 40,000 points needs some dedication!

Ive just completed this recently, I think I did the second mission with no weapons on easy, then after unlocking the achievement for that, restarted last checkpoint and used only bolt action rifles for the last section and finished the level again. Then restarted the checkpoint and finished with only assault rifles. Worked a treat

Is the Mp40 an assault rifle?

I ran out of ammo so used it and still didnt get achievement

mp40 is a sub-machine gun isn't it?

mp43-mp44 is an assault rifle though.
