support two people playing online, same time, same console, split screen?

If not, apart from Gears of War, do any other xbox 360 games?

Yep it does mate.

PDZ and GRAW also do it iirc.

I presume CoD3 allows the same guest thing too?

yep, 2nd player logs in as a guest....he/she will come up as "yourlogon name"(1) online...find this great fun, my brother and i were doing this the other day! was great to play with someone as inept as me, lol.

Cool didnt realise you could do this, ive just got myself a 2nd wireless controller after 1yr!, got my brother in law popping round xmas eve so think ill have some co-op cod3
