Right, so I go to play COD4 the other day, stick the disc in, doesn't load the autoplay, eventually the autoplay comes on, but only the explore files options comes up, the option to start the COD4 autorun doesn't come up, leaving the disc in, and clicking on the desktop icon does nothing, so I uninstall, trying to reinstall on numerous occasions it comes up about a file missing etc. so I don't get through the installation process.
Try starting up COD5 today, same thing happens, long time to bring the autoplay up, with again no auto run, and the desktop icon doing nothing, except waiting to load, then when I get tired and take the disk out, it kicks off at me about there being no disc, so should it cancel, try again etc. the same thing it did for COD4.
Just stuck COD5 in my dad's few years old laptop, ran the autoplay fine, splash screen came up, and it's installing merrily at the minute, won't play on the laptop like, it's too old, but just testing it.
So I try COD2 in this computer, autoplay comes straight up, and autorun takes you directly to the splash screen, done the same with GRID.
Just wondering what could cause the 2 games to do the same thing, on here, when for the moment; one of them is working fine on the laptop.
