COD4 and GTA4 questions ?

Wanting to play both of them, but wondering if my current rig is up to spec to play them ?

I played COD4 on an x1950pro at this current resolution - 1680x1050.

And I played it well but most of the settings turned down, i wish to run it maxed out.

And also GTA4, high quality, possible ? Spec in sig x

Deffo. COD4 will run flawlessly. GTA4 will run pretty good too, about 30ish fps.

No, your 260 is worse than the x1950 pro, CoD 4 wont play anymore.

Of course it will work, probably 200fps on max settings

Both will work fine and GTA 4 will be more than playable and as for COD4 will run near if not perfect.

COD4 ran OK-ish on my 3850 256mb at 1680x1050 with 0xAA but not the best. It ran flawless when I got an 8800GT at 2xAA

Flawlessly, my friends rig with a 7900gtx an old Athlon and 2gb of Ram plays Cod4 at 1680x1050 with no huckups.

On CoD4, type:

/com_maxFPS 125
and
/cg_drawmaxfps 1

into the console (` key for UK keyboards)

This will raise the maximun fps to 125 (the best for cod4) and draw an fps meter itn eh top right of the screen. I run a GTX 260 @ 1440x900 4xAA at solid 125 FPS.
