cod4 and pb

hi im having problems on cod 4 multiplayer , i keep getting kicked out by punkbuster, cant remember if there was an option when installing the game but if there was i did not install the punkbuster software, what should i do?

ive run the pbsetup.exe and put cod4 in it and updated but when im in a game i get this message:

communication failed error punkbs.exe ?

please help
