COD4 and PB

YES! its another PB problem thread

Bought the COD Pack today, COD5 seems to be fine (at least on co-op) i have tryed the PBsetup.exe program (that worked fine with BC2) have added COD 4 and 5 to it, updated but it still dosn't work

EDIT: one more thing, it dosn't kick straight away i waits about a minute before doing so

Try running this if you haven't already done so. What message do you get when you get kicked?

If that doesn't work try exiting Steam then right click on the icon and run as an administrator.

ok have tryed that program but it still dosn't work! the exact error im getting is: disallowed Program/Driver (125120)

Turn off the Steam overlay. Right-click on COD4 in the Steam library and choose 'Properties', untick 'Enable Steam Community In-Game', and click the close button. See if that fixes it.

as jmc777 says, disabling the steam overlay solves it but i'm a bit annoyed we have to do this. why can they patch it slightly to fix this, and while there at it add some acheivements

You can run the Steam version of COD4 without Steam; just go to Steam\steamapps\common\call of duty 4 and run iw3mp.exe (but it would have been nice if Valve or Evenbalance would have come up with something to get the overlay working).

its working now, although i have only tested one server (hated the game lol) had to uncheck a box for steam overlay thing and it worked, then after the one game i had i went back on BC2

I bought it as part of the STEAM sale COD pack and want a proper fix :mad:
