COD4 backup question pc

Hi all just a quick question I've just built a new pc so I copied my config_mp.cfg and mpdata to an old hard drive. I've got the pc working fine bought a caddie for the old HD installed Cod4 copied the 2 files to the right folder. When I started the game all my stats are there and unlocks but I've noticed my stats aren't moving up or time on line nothing is going up now? Anyone seen this before. Cheers
