Lovely Wolver-ampton!
iw3mp.exe error a couple of mins into the game.

I've tried going back to windows sound drivers instead of the realtek. i've tried plugging in a mic. i've tried re-installing.

still getting the error and im losing patience.

anyone? google seems to throw the same errors up.

The only time I have had this error is when I'm running a GPU folding client, and it wasn't auto stopping, probably not much use. Are you on Vista or XP?

vista x32 x1950 card 4gb ram (well, 3.5)

Was playing fine until I installed the Realtek drivers. Have since uninstalled them but the error keeps buggin.

had the same problem as well but with multiplayer... but i plugged headphones into the mic and that worked for me... so sorry i dont know any other solution... have you tried activision troubleshooting web site?

I had a similar issue. Try setting the 24 bit sound quality to the lowest of them rather than the highest, this fixed it for me. (In Vista, Control Panel, Sound, select your device, Properties, Advanced, then under "Default Format" set it to 24 Bit, 44100 Hz)
