Ends: Monday Dec 10th at 10 AM (PST)

Details:

We're kicking off a double XP weekend exclusively on the PS3 starting on Friday and lasting till Monday morning. Play at anytime starting at 10 am (PST) through Monday at 10 am (PST) and you'll earn double the XP in every gametype. Rank up higher, unlock more all weekend long!

This is a special limited time deal, so get in there and rank up while the double XP lasts, as come Monday morning it's back to normal XP. See you online!

No quite the opposite. It's likely to make up for the server problems at launch and rank issues some have been having.

Doesn't bother me really, I play it because it's fantastic online. Personally I think it's peerless, it's that good.

What is Prestige mode though? I know it unlocks at level 55, but I still don't know what it is.

Just gives you a new icon beside your rank, and wipes out all your unlocks and challenges (apart from clan tag)

Yeah, you can do it 10 times, rank up to 55 10x times one guy has done it on the 360 so far.

Yeah, all it does is starts you off at rank 1 again, but you get symbols behind your rank to show your in prestige mode. Im not going to bother (if i actually get to level 55 in the first place), Id rather keep my guns.

Same I really dont see the point of struggling through with the crap guns to get the challenges just to lose them all again. I'd prefer to set my sights on unlocking all the challenges rather that prestige mode.

M16 is a great gun right from the start, that's all I use to get all the challenges would be using crap guns

Yeah the M16 is a decent gun, but personally I love the M4 with the red dot sight. Cant wait to get the G36, but it doesnt seem overly brilliant. Most of the guns are good really, i love the sound of the MP5, it sends a tingle to my nuts.

All depends on the map though, M16 is a great gun to start with, but i think the perks are more of an advantage than the weapons as you rank up. Anyway I think if you prestige to the maximum you get a golden gun!!

Your wrong Its ****. I used it for the challenges and the recoil puts you at a huge disadvantage. Pick up a disowned P90 or a M4 and you will see exactly why it's pap. I found it impossible when you have to kill more than one enemy in a burst.

The AK is one of the worst i've used.

Anyway I think if you prestige to the maximum you get a golden gun!!

I think Soulja looked into this today and the golden gun comes through completeing challenges and you get nothing for completing prestige levels. So why the hell bother.
