COD4 framerates.

Can anyone give me a rough estimate of fps Ill achieve on my PC? just bought the COD4 GOTY Edition in the steam sale as Im missing the conventional fps.

PC Specs:
- P4 @3.2 (512kb/s L2 cache)
- 2GB PC-3200 DDR ram @400MHz
- 512mb Sapphire HD3850

Will be gaming at native res of 1440x900

Im kinda used to playing games in absolutely raped quality, e.g. TF2 @ 1440x900, DX8.1 everything lowest and still 25fps average . But thats another matter.

I had an athlon 64 x2 @2.6ghz with 2gb 3200 RAM and a 256mb 3850 on a 1280x1024 monitor. It actually ran pretty good. I then upgraded to a 1680x1050 and it ran rubbish. I then had to buy an 8800GT which ran it perfect. I think it was down to the 256mb but your resolution is lower than 1280x1024 and you have 512mb so you shuld be ok.

should run ok....its not like crysis where there is lots to interact with and its heavily scripted so not too much thinking for the cpu bots to do.
decent engine too which has been tweaked over time....so all in all a pretty good looking game which isnt too demanding.
