COD4 GOTY?

just wondering... i'm about to play through COD4 again but are the extra goodies from the GOTY edition downloadable content?

i think its just multiplayer stuff isn't it?

if it means missing out on stuff i think i actually would buy it again

The extra goodies are what the PC version got for free, basically the new maps that IW had to charge for on consoles.

I've just picked up COD4 again and going through the levels once again on Multiplayer. It's a great game. I brought it on PC before I had my PS3 as well.

Great Game. The extra maps are a nice addition.

so you're saying if you buy the additional map pack, then that is the GOTY edition essentially? - i had it in my head that theres new weapons and the like?

Nope, GOTY just gives you a code that lets you download the map pack for free.

no i mean if i purchased with map pack, do i have everything that i'd have if i bought the GOTY? i.e. will i be missing any other addons?

Nope, iirc they only released 1 map pack.

Yup, Just one map pack. Nothing else at all.

GOTY Edition just means you get the map pack free.
