CoD4 Help: Cant access weapons when the "Melee right when it bites" dog thing popsup

In the sniper mission after shooting the bad guy with the Barret and escaping from the hotel, whenever a dog attacks me, I get the "Melee right when it bites" message and the little dog symbol appearing on screen, but cannot get rid of it and cannot select any weapons after it appears??!!!.

Any ideas?.

Unbind it then rebind it

If that fails reinstall?

Are u meaning you are killing the dog and then u are unable to choose a weapon with the text still on the screen?
Or are you meaning that when it appears, u can't do anything and die?

Not running in God mode are you? happened to me when I played it through in God Mode.. you need to disable it die then re-spawn and go!

wait a minute let me get this straight. is OP trying to get out a weapon while dog is about to kill him but cant ? because that is how im seeing it.

Yep, that was the problem.

Switched the trainer off and it's all working fine now.
