COD4 - Higher AA and AF?

Someone mentioned that they play CoD4 on 16xAA, 16xAF

Mine only goes to 4x, is that because it reads what components i have and wont let me choose higher?

Or am I missing something?

I Think the maximum ingame setting for AA is 4 no matter what gfx card you have, you can force it using the nvidia control panel to go above that though.
