Hi Guys... I wanted to see if this happens to other people cuz it happens to me a good 50% of the games i go into and is getting really annoying:

I will be in the middle of a match, and suddenly the match ended screen comes up and says "Host Ended Game", I then end up back in the lobby area on my own :(

When you get into a group and start learning how people are playing and stuff its very annoying to just be left out in the cold... I'm assuming the host hasn't actually ended the game so what is going on and can i do anything about it?

Since the patch, when the host quits you shouldn't be dumped out of the lobby anymore (just the game). So if you're ending up in a lobby by yourself, it could well mean you were host and you lagged out. Although that's a bit weird it happening that often because it would imply you fairly consistently have the best connection when the host is chosen.

Sounds a bit weird I must admit. You do get hosts quiting fairly regularly - but no where near 50%. It is (or should be) always caused by the host (whether they know they're hosting or not) quiting or lagging out.

Happens to me also, but not often. Probably 1 in 10 games.

Not sure why it happens, but I just presume it's either

a) The host was winning at the time and wanted to bag the extra exp for winning, or

b) The host was getting a good kicking and got fed up!

Not much you can do about it I'm afraid, other than take it on the chin and accept it as part of online gaming.

A) not true, if you quit you get no experience and it counts as a Loss!

C) For whatever reason there was a breakdown in communication between the host and the clients, the host could not resove the issues and automatically quits the game!
This is the common case you see when you end up back at the lobby with the exact same people and no-one missing.
Also this can cause further problems as more often than not the game will choose the same host to start a new game, at that point it just throws you out right at the start of the game.
Its at this time that you are better off leaving the lobby altogether

Another common one I know of is when you get kicked after about 2 minutes, basically the host is away from his / her machine at the start of the game and failed to pick a class in time, they are then kicked from the game like anyone else would be but because they are the host everyone loses out.
