Tried connecting to COD4 earlier and I'm getting a keycode in use, please reconnect later message

My bad guys, I've just linked my blog and youtube account now through hyperlink. Also, I thought directly linking to my torrent site is disallowed so I took that down too. Sorry I if I broke any rules guys...

I dont want to link so I'll give you instructions. Just go on google and search ''call of duty 4 private servers'' and hit the top link. It's also advisable you get Xfire and make sure you got no game running and then just click play through Xfire. After you click it'll automatically join and you can play. When your done, exit the game and go to your Xfire and on the Server tab hit recent game servers. Find the one you just played and add it your favourites, meaning you can join anytime by shutting all games down and right clicking join server

Have fun & remember to suppourt Infinity Ward by buying the game if you haven't.

MAYBE if you typed ur CD key with lowercase letters try again using uppercase...

believe it or not it messed up my METW 2 online gaming and all i had to do was re-isntall using uppercase.... u would have thought both would work for online play but no...

Well, the thing is you registered first with the key code, so it's unlikely anyone else would be able to register with the key ?

I've never changed the keycode ever, the game was installed and set up about 3 days after I bought it :/

Why not just contact the company and say this they should then issue a new one. As long as you have a reciept I don't see the problem in this. They should also block your old code as well so whoever stole it cant use it again.

Register? You don't need to register anything in CoD4.

I doubt it, contact activision instead. A retailer can do no such thing as block a cd key, I doubt activision can actually.
