COD4 Levelling up.

I lost my stats doing a re instal the other day, I knew i was going to lose them but was to eager to re instal & get the game working again to back up. So from a 55 to a 1 in seconds :p The only thing that bothered me was losing my P90 :(
So I've had my head down the last few days & have reached level 45 in 1 Day 7 minutes of play. I was just wondering how long it took others to level up & whether i did well or not.

 
im at lvl 30 in 5/6 hours of game play ,
try to play were u have to plant the bomb you get 10x points.
kinda busy playing cs:s so just gave it a break
 
Team Deathmatch Hardcore

Level 1 to 55 in 1 Day 6 hours.

Slowly working my way through the unlocks as well.

I was a hardcore COD1 & COD2 player, other than a few changes this game is quite easy in comparision :D
 
Good effort psychas, I'll give another mode a go, I've only been playing HQ as i love that game type, When you have HQ & all your team are getting slaughtered with no respawn the pressure is bang on you & then when you don't have HQ it gives direction to the game.

Am an old COD player myself & yes 4 is well easy in comparison. It's like we have all be given automatic Garrands & poured into Carentan high road :p

This tool may come in handy next time as it let's you back-up your COD4 Multiplyer profiles and then copy them back to your rebuilt machine. :)

Maybe we should include some tips.
My tip is play HQ on plus 40 servers.
 
I did 1-55 in 30 hours but it was just spamming tbh
50 ppl shipment maps for 24/7 raping. nade spam binds on the G15 that sort of stuff

btw there is a hack available that lets you level up instantly.

I saw that hack but am not up for blatant cheating. Levelling up is good fun as you get to use weapons you forgot about.
Also PB is including that in the next patch so be warned anyone who is tempted.
 
Yea few tips are if your half decent gamer play SD, you can rack up the XP quite easy...

malc is right about HQ, you get XP even if your not killing anyone :)
 
For the game, HQ definetly, you can get 2500+ a game without completing any challenges.
Just making sure you're the one involved in the caps / decaps and alone that will net you around 1000 even without a decent K : D. Add in a nice set of kills and an overall win and you will boost it massively. Then I would just stagger the way you use each weapon, get the 100/150 kills with each (trying to get atleast the 25 headshots on the way) and move onto the next, as for the other challenges, you will either complete them or you won't if you're doing it for speed I wouldn't go out your way for them as you could end up spending a bit of time doing so.
 
am i the only one who isnt such a stat junkie. im level 41 and dont see why people are so eager to spend a complete day trying to do it all. just give me an m4 and point me at the bad guys

I wasn't eager to level, however some players are naturally good at these games so can level up extremely quickly. Oh, and when people say that they hit lvl 55 in 1 day I believe they are talking about total play time. That one day could be spread out over a week or even a month.

Mine for instance was just playing for fun, I didn't care about unlocks to start with etc. Once I hit lvl 55 however the only thing left to aim for was the achievements, so I am slowly working my way through them.

tbh, I found it too easy to level up and it would have been better if more XP was needed and you carried on aquiring xp even after you hit 55.
