COD4 - longvidity?

I have been playing COD4 for a few weeks now and have loved every minute but its starting to get a little repetitve. Are there not any new maps that they are going to realease or extra perks/weapons?

I have got to level 50 and its starting to get a bit boring.

Once you reach lvl 50 its just a boring game I'm afraid.

There's no plans for any new maps, perks or weapons.

You could try playing some mods though.

well id give some of those new mods a whirl, and maybe play single player through again. i did recently and it was great as i forget easily.

Try faffing around with different weapons, something you've never tried before like the auto shotty or the skorpion - trying to use a weapon you're not used to changes the game into a whole new one, you've got to use a different play style for each gun.

Multiplayer in games ends up being just as repetative as singleplayer if it is not modded and has new maps coming out.

Just turn on mods in the multiplayer search filter and you'll find lots of servers with mods and custom maps.

I like the word "longvidity" actually. I'm gonna start using it from now on

To the OP, maybe try another on-line game for a while? You might find something you like even more and the rest from COD4 might rekindle your interest in it. I'm really enjoying playing TF2 and COD4 - they're both so very different that it keeps things fresh :cool:

It is a boring game because there's no real depth to the gameplay skill like cs source.
New maps new weapons none of it matters if the basic core is shallow.

They were talking about adding more weapons into the online mode and new scopes but so far nothing has surfaced. I would expect a 360 pack for 5 months then someone sponsoring a PC release.

Play another game for a while, BF2, BF2142, DOD:S, CS there are loads of fun online FPS'S.
