COD4 - longvidity?

Turn into a nerd.....being in a clan doesn't mean you have to play 24/7, clan battles are good fun. I think that search and destroy is the best...a bit like css but i like it. We also have training every thursday because most of us work and can't play everyday...

still enjoying cod4 got to lvl 55 rather quickly, trying to achieve 100% with all challenges etc,although spawn killing and hacking do tend to put me off occisionally. also try avoid playing huge crowded servers just ruins the game. some maps ain't big enough for like 40 odd people.

It depends on what you define is good about COD4, the graphics ? Then no, its probably the best multi player shooter in that regard.
Gameplay, then sure there are other games, Day of Defeat Source is similar (albeit WW2) flag capture with objective based maps too, plus it has the achievements to aim for following the recent update and can be had for around £5 on Steam !

I have played DOD:S since its release and after a 7 month break I am once again hooked and trying to get all the achievements....although I probably would have earned all of them by now if the update had happened a year ago !! lol

Not in my opinion. I pretty much flutter my time between COD4 and Diablo II.

I prefer COD4 over COD2.

Far Cry was good, but I do find it very hard and frustrating, even on easy.
