COD4 MP

Now I know there's another thread, but I didn't want to go OT.

Is it really worth it for the MP? I just cannot see it being THAT good.

What modes are there, do any of you still play?

Does it have a lasting appeal?

I am also thinking of purchasing COD4 for the MP and was wondering if its worth the £30.

Graphics looks good but i like a tactical game, not just run shoot, grenade, shoot etc.

Its good, but after a while the airstikes and helos really start to get on your man breasts

Yeh the Airstrikes are Irritating... but for the most part it is pretty good.

Theres TDM, DM, HQ, Escort the Bomb and a couple of others..

I've had it since it came out and have only played the MP. Have not touched the Single player.

There are some great servers out there. I'm not sure if Ill be playing for ages and ages to come like BF2142 but its great fun.

Great game but the key is definitely finding good servers. I find 16-20 player servers the best.

yep max 10 a side for most maps for the most amount of fun i think. the maps are good and the personalisation of weapons and rankings is fun if not as "hardcore" as the BF series.

oh and hardcore mode is fun as well (no crosshairs,no ammo clip details, realistic body damage)

I play it every day, getting pretty good if I may say so myself.

It doesnt require much skill though, the guns are far too accurate and easy to shoot.

Its still a good laugh though, plenty of hackers in it too sadly, saw a guy the other day with the most blatant autoaim ever.
