COD4 MW2 mod

Anyone who has COD4 get online and download the MW2 mod, it is really good.

The mod takes a few minutes to download but it is worth the wait.

Our BIO clan has a server with the MW2 mod on it, its actually quite cool! There are a few bugs with the mod as expected but other than that, its fantastic!

You get MW2 maps which do look identical and you get some of the MW2 guns as well, overall its a good mod, shame now many people use it

few people i know have the servers up theres a few variations . the best one is here

{BHC}Modern Warfare 2 92.48.91.102:2304

and another one is my old clan nM-MW2 94.76.198.170:28961

a lot of the mw2 maps are redone and basically same but with no lag and same guns and cod 4 guns

Maybe because you have to play COD4 in order for the MW2 mod to work?

Also, it's a good idea as MW2 online sucks, least the mod is a good way to give the feel of MW2 with dedicated servers?

yes all killstreaks from mw2 are in it

Evilsod because theres dedicated servers admins and no lag which is where mw2 fails so hard. the maps are basically exactly the same the weapons are same or similar and killstreaks and all other mw2 is the same and its free !

Tens of thousands of people play it at a time because they simply put up with everything because they have no mind of there own.

Any hardcore servers with the MW2 mod? Really struggle to play non hardcore games on COD4, it's just so much better with it on.

MW2 is rotten online, max 18 players, no dedi servers, full of kids and cheaters, despite the IW Net garbage, and massive lag because of no dedi servers.

The core gameplay is pretty good... the cheaters/laggers, lack of dedis and crap lobby system kinda kill it but if you can get past that then its really fun. Granted 1-2 perks/guns/killstreaks could do with tweaking. I find that most of the people who complain about it are the ones lacking the skill to work things like claymores, launchers, airstrikes, etc. into their ingame tactics.
