COD4 on PC or Xbox 360

Not for FPS games like COD4. I have no idea how you're going to finish the SP campaign with a joypad. Lol.

Get the PC version.
 
First off, it is an FPS which should *ALWAYS* be played on a PC.

If that is not enough, as has been said, the PC version is better in *EVERY* way.

There is no reason what so ever to get a console version.

Get the PC version.
 
Recently I bought Bioshock on release for the 360 thinking my PC wouldn't handle it, finished it in a week and for some bizarre reason traded it in for the PC version. I kind of of enjoyed it more the second time through on the PC, I felt more immersed for some strange reason, and I'm starting to be pulled back into PC gaming by the influx of top games finally after about a 2 year wait.

Pretty much what I was going to post word for word. Hell, I'm even playing Crysis with a 360 controller whilst sitting on my sofa through my 50" HDTV/5.1 system.....

But only because my PC upgrade isn't complete, and I wanted to play it.

Finished the SP the day I got it (very short even by todays standards)
Didn't have any trouble using a controller to complete the campaign (I have Halo, Bioshock, GRAW, Gear of War, so if you have played any of those on 360 you won't have any trouble)

I don't find the lack of dedicated servers THAT much of a problem, I generally find a game within 30 seconds, out of 30 or so games, I have had 3 or 4 laggy games, and 2 or 3 that have just ended cause the host sucked.

I think, if you have played fps's on the 360 at all, then you will enjoy either version a lot.
 
People always **** off the controller for FPS games, but I think they work really well. You have to get used to it, just like the mouse/keyboard.

As for getting the PC or 360 version, don't forget the PC version is often cheaper.

However, I love being on the sofa, with surround sound, with a large widescreen telly.
 
Played the demo on the PC and it ran crap on my computer, unless you have a top spec computer it is pointless on the PC but the days of me upgrading have gone, I bought it for my 360 for £30, it runs great, online is very smooth and lag free and to the people who say M+K is better than a pad either can not play with a pad or just a fanboy imho.

You don't need a top spec PC at all.

Mouse & Keyboard are better though, you ain't gotta be a fanboy to say that!

Online may be lag free but the flaw is it's p2p so it could very well not always be lag free even with the smaller player count.

Totally agree, I struggle to sit and play games on the 360 for a long time because im sitting/laid on the bed playing. However sitting at the pc I can easily sit on games for much long. Think it might be time to hook the 360 upto the pc monitor just to get some games completed :p

Can we agree to disagree, I will enjoy it on the 360 on my pad and you can enjoy it on the pc with your mouse and keyboard.
