COD4 - online split screen?

hey guys,

I can't find the thread but a while someone told me that in COD4 you can play online and have two of you connected via split screen, so two of you on the same team for example...

is this not the case cuz i sure as hell can't find out how to do it

just want to be able to play split screen and for it not just to be the two of us in deathmatch...

Nope as far as I know it isn't possible to play online multiplayer in split screen mode. Don't ask me why they never incorporated that!

well, which fps would generally be top-of-the-pile for spit screen play? COD4 is pretty pap only having two of you in a map...

I'm unsure if this is strictly a PS3 thread, but if you own a 360, Halo 3 is not bad at all for online splitscreen play. On the PS3 side of things, I think Resistance's splitscreen is offline only. I don't really know that much about other shooters on the PS3, sorry. Have a look at Rainbox Six 6: Las Vegas, that's supposed to be good.

yeah i'm talking PS3... I know Halo is the nuts but i aint got a 360

so is the choice between R6:V and Resistance then?

I'd advise you look up both first, I could be wrong and they might not have the modes you're looking for.

I have Rainbow 6 and im 99.9% positive it hasnt got online split screen mate.

Although Im doubting myself after you saying that lol
