CoD 4 was the pinnacle of the series in my opinion. All been absolutely gash since then.

Better off getting ARMA 3 Alpha for the same price (on Steam that is).

Anything after then I wouldn't bother.

been on all night tonight on netsky promod allways full as are a lot of servers. you can pick up retail for about a tenner and still one of best games going

Again, COD4. It was and still is the best game in the series in my opinion.

I prefer COD5 to be honest, but then I'm more of a WW2 game fan than modern stuff.

To me, every assault rifle felt the same in COD4, whereas in COD5 the weapons have a distinctly different feel to them, and the bolt actions are nicely powerful.

COD4 probably has more players on it, but I remember seeing someone on my Steam the other day mention that there's barely any hackers on COD5.

Call of Duty 4 was one of the best shooters in history, up there with Quake 3 arena for me which I played for nearly 6 years straight and still play to this day.

COD5 has still quite a lot of players online on server and there is a awesome new mod coming out soon which will get quite a few more playing called red line.

it has all the weapons and vehicles like in bf but in cod . free mod and free maps . theres also a very good zombie coop mod but you can get 20 people in your co op.

one of reasons why earlier cods are still more popular than big budget titles like bf3 and such.

It was the same for Medal of Honor Allied Assault with me, COD1 came closest then it all went downhill after COD2.
