I'm gonna get this today, anyone own both the PC and either the PS3 ver.. ?

I'm personally prefer the mouse & keyboard, but my pc is a little long in the tooth these days with only a 3.0ghz HT and 7800GT... The console versions look much nicer from what I've seen especially as the game runs at a full 60fps... Also there's the added bonus of running it off a 42inch plasma.. PC on the other hand has much better controls,,

So it's the PC version with its Lesser graphics (my pc at least) smaller screen (distance too far to run to TV) but with better control vs the PS3 or even 360 ps3 no1 choice due to the dvd spin noise on the 360 doing my nut in!

Which version would you choose..

If you have the old 6 axis controller then don't choose the PS3 version. If you have the newer controllers then it's a tough choice but I chose the console version as all my mates play consoles and play on XBL more than on their PCs.

I have it on the 360 and wish I'd have got in on the PC. Can't beat mouse and keyboard, plus you can run it at a decent resolution and crank up the AF and AA.

But unless you're a camper, I fail to believe anyone really notices the beautiful textures the flawless pixel shading when you're running hell for leather while aiming your sights on some Johnny Terrorist.

If your mad about your ach. points and only like playing with mates - 360

If you love big battles, KB+M, different styles of play and like saving money - PC

First off, I must point out that I've seen neither console version.

I played through the PC single player campaign a few weeks ago, on the rig in my sig.

Granted, the 8800GT is a fair bit quicker than the 7800, nevertheless, I had it running at 1680x1050 with all the details at max, and had to enable V-Sync to stop the tearing, and it never had one stutter, no matter how much was going on.

That being the case, I should imagine it would run quite successfully on a 7800 too.

Are there no demos around you can try?

Keyboard and Mouse made my decision for me... that, and the cheaper price ;)
V1N.

Just got back... I ended up with the PS3 version, but that's only cos they had a new copy on offer down at the game shop which was cheaper than the PC version. I'll probably end up with the PC version at a later date. I can't run my PC to my telly cos it's too far..

One day I'll master the controller on the FPS for consoles.. I need to, it seems the only real decent games coming out these days are FPS's. Never got into Halo for this very reason.

50 man games are great, you get tons of kills on team death match

its like you're a real army in battle

nothing beats 2-3 guys in succession

and spawning behind enemy lines is quality
