COD4 PC vs Console

Never thought I'd ever say I prefer a console FPS over a PC FPS... But COD4 really is the bomb ! Definately best game of this generation. PC version feels a little jittery in comparision.

I agree, I used to be a PC gamer when I was a little nipper (quake, Doom, Duke Nukem etc) then I got into consoles. I love COD4 on XBOX and introduced it to my bf as hes a PC gamer. He imediately disagreed and stated PC gaming is better. I tried Rainbow 6 v2 on the PC as I have it for my XBOX and I have to say I much prefered the console one.

For me, next gen will be when you can use the same mods on pc as you can on the console. We can all hope

I always feel games are made by its social aspect, the problem I always had with PC gaming was that you'd build a great set of friends for one game, but that crowd stuck with that game and didn't move onto other games to play with.

With console gaming the people I know generally all buy the big games so I can play many games with the same people, it has more of that friendly social vibe.

If you want to play just one game and make friends then PC gaming is brilliant, I made some fantastic friends through IRC etc.. But with consoles I know groups of friends and that floats my boat more these days.
