Ok when playing online my ping sits around 100 at all times, I have 8mb adsl which runs at a decent speed. It is the same on all servers while friends have 50-60.

Is there some setting that needs to change or is it just my isp (zen)?

I have the same problem, I'm on BT and whilst playing my ping sits on 70-80 and in servers without lag compensation turned on i find it impossible to play without getting really p****d off at loosing practically every firefight against someone with a 30 ms ping.
Zen were always good for me gaming wise whilst used them, you could request them to turn off interleaving which may help a little but I did find on sweedish servers that their peering was not the best and I ended up with 100ms+ latency.
May be wise to ask their tech support about it and see if they can help diagnose it at all.

Yeah iv noticed the Ping is pretty high aswell, although when i browse the servers in the in game server browser, a server showing 25ping in the browser, i will end up having like over 50 in the server.
