CoD4 Prestige Mode for the PC???

Does anyone know if there is going to be a patch released that will let PC Call of Duty 4 players go into Prestige Mode?

I just got to level 55 and feel a little cheated to find that PC users don't get the chance and that Prestige is only for the PS3 and 360. :(

There seems little point in playing any futher.

join a clan, or even just play on some good hardcore clan servers and test your skills without worrying about your stats. I'm still not at lvl55 but i think i'll be relieved when i get there because it'll mean i can relax a bit more!
 
My friend is about prestige 6 or something on the Xbox and he has unlocked... Nothing that you don't have at rank 55. What's the point apart from flapping your e-peen about?
 
Yeah, it is all about bragging rights.
It would have been nice to get the same as the 360 and PS3 players get though. I cant see the reason why they would leave it out of the PC version.
 
Ive hit a bit of a wall, i dont seem to be moving up half as quickly as before :/

thats the point :D, example

Rank 1 - 20 points +20
Rank 2 - 40 Points +20
Rank 3 - 80 points +40
Rank 4 - 140 points +60

Eventually going up 1000 to next rank then 1400 next rank then so on....

I think cod4 would have been so much better to have Roundly Achievements like battlefield 2142 and 10kill streak, you get a badge, ect

and i also think theres should have been some kind of reviver like 2142 and bf2.
or a option for a reviver, IE - not in hardcore

also the stats page should be allot more in depth...these could have been done so easily, some time sit makes you wonder ''WHY!''

Also they should think about making your character more personalized, which they have already started by adding silencers and skins.

^^ Just play Headquarters on a server with 40 people on it.
I average about a 1000 points a round & sometimes up to 2000. Check your Challenges out before a session though & include one or two in a round whilst you play.
 
I understand the leveling up gets harder but i can kill nowt at the moment, im struggling

And yes it would be better like 2142, which i still think is a better game :)
 
I've been playing since it first came out and I'm still at lv25 :(

OK fair enough I only play it a few times a week and I have lost my stats several times.

Get over 1000 on TDM quite easily too in a 10 min game, 20 - 30 people on the server
 
i found that once i hit 55 i went back to more or less the weapons i had when i was rank1 such as m16/ak etc.

I had more fun getting the 150 headshots etc with the shotguns ans sniper rifles than i did climbing the ranks.

Ive unlocked all the gold variants of weapons so all is left to work for is a few of the 100% targets but to be honest im enjoying COD4 more now that im not chasing ranks than i was when i started.
 
Lol i don't play public much so my rank is pretty pointless, if i do i use the weapons i unlocked from like lvl 1-10 :/
