COD4 - Random crashes?

I have only just started to play COD4 but I have had this crash on me a few times lately. I ignored it the first time but it happened three times in a row.

Is there any know bugs on multiplayer that I should be aware of?

Plus where are the crash errors kept? I cant remember where they are stored on computer
