COD4 Rank - Can It Be Saved For Format?

Hi guys,

Since COD4 doesnt use a login or anything im just wondering whether its possible to save your rank somehow so that after a format you dont have to start all over again. Can it be done just by taking a copy of the MP Profile Config folder?

Yes it can, I have done this once before when I reformatted my computer, just save the mp_data config file. Im not sure exactly which file it is or where exactly but just go into the game directory and save the multiplayer folders then when you reinstall just cut and paste the old mp data file back in :)

It does work because I've done it before ;)
