just wanted to know before buying call of duty 4 if it will actually run on my system with good levels of details.

intel core 2 duo e6750
2gb ddr2
512mb nvidia 9600gt
windows xp pro

should run at max, or close to it, at any reasonable resolution

Ye that should run max.
I have the same but with a 8800gt and it runs max @ 1680 x 1050

well been playing it for the past 6 hours and it just blows your mind best game so far! Might start an online server.

it just gets more fun when you get online.

find a hard core server with about 24 player slots on s&d . you will be in multiplayer heaven.
