COD5 360 conroller...?

My 360 control pad doesn't work with COD 5. Am I missing something.?

This is the pc section m8 you might want to get someone to move it to the console section.

You guessed right. Using a wired one. Had to download pinnacle game profiler to get it to work.???

Its probably been made to take advantage of the keyboard and mouse - dno why you would use a pad on the PC version which I doubt has the same aiming assistance that the console games seem to have...

Agreed......wtf are you using a controller for when you have it on pc?

You may want to buy a console instead.

The pad doesnt work on the pc version even tho it says it does on the box, it may work with some third party software however.

Out of curiosity how does it play with the pad? Any reasons to playing it via that method rather than the kb+mouse?

I guess its a good way to make it harder...

A controller makes you able to play it without sitting for it at your pc, I can understand if he'd like to give it a go on a controller... You can just lie down in a nice bed or on your couch and play a game nice and relaxed...

I'm not sure about the question, I'm using a generic ps2 controller for some games and after the standard driver is installed I can remap the keys in any game to it without issues ( haven't tried to do in in most fps though tbh, it's more for footy games or hack n slash or driving or fighting games tbh)...

yeah it must be , i tried to get mine working with no joy then looked about multiple forums and found no one has managed to get it working yet without using some kind of mapping software
