I've got a problem with an Asus laptop. Webcam is showing as "code 43."
I've tried:
Reinstall windows from built in recovery partition
Reinstalled drivers directly via device manager (got the message that the best driver was installed)
Tried removing battery and holding power for 30 seconds.
BIOS on latest version (wont allow me to rollback)
Updated latest Intel chipset drivers
I have no clue what the problem is or what to try next. I'm guessing the webcam is physically broke? Although I have seen others with a similar issue from Googling the issue, of course no one resolves it though!
The hardware I.D. codes are all "0000" which is worrying.
