"Code Comment Report" VS2008

Hello All,

I'm reading through a fairly old C# book at the moment (2003) which is asuming I have the later version of VS.

I'm running 2008 on my PC.

The book is talking about XML Code Comment's, and that these can be generated by going to to the build menu and selecting "Build Comment Web Pages".

This option isn't appearing in my build menu - has this feature been removed or am I being a nub?

Try something like GhostDoc http://submain.com/products/ghostdoc.aspx

Thats what I use, its a Visual Studio plugin

I pretty much just want to know if this can still be done via VS2008, as it looks like it was in 2003..

It's in the 2003 edition of the book I'm reading, which is obviously 6 years out of date - just wondered if this feature had been done away with.

Sorry I can't answer your question. I don't have VS 2008 on this machine. But I always use that plugin. I never used the internal VS version.

Microsoft moved all the xml comment to documentation generation into a project called sandcastle.
