Codec pack with no rubbish

Hello,

I am looking for an audio and video codec pack with as many encoders and decoders as possible, but without any other rubbish like ffdshow or config crap. I just want to be able to work with all my video's in virtualdub and recode em...

I use Spotify and VLC to play anything so I really just need it for decoding and encoding purposes, I just dislike many packs for coming with so much rubbish.

What is a good pack with nearly all known codecs in but without all the rubbish included ? Need both audio and video codecs... Want to be able to recode h264 .mp4's with 5.1 audio and seperate subs and hardcode subs into it and into a .mkv with stereo audio for example...

Doesn't codes like the klite pack have the option for which codecs you actually need and not install the ones you dont?

They often come with lots of crappy apps and consoles too. I just want to encoders and decoders for use in vdub...

I'll try, I just don't want any things like ffdshow, ac3 filter, media player classic, etc...

Yes, great isn't it ? VLC's decoders aren't usable in virtualdub though and I don't think it has encoders...

when you install pick what you want n need to install, untick the rest

For VirtualDub all I use is ffdshow and LameMP3. Just make sure you get the same versions of VirtualDub and ffdshow (I use 32bit versions of both).

I know KLite lets you choose exactly what you want during installation.

CCCP, or the manual route...

Matrakosa splitter
AC3 filter
FFDshow (x264 encoding disabled)

Those 4 should take care of the majority.
