Hi All what is the best codec pack to use with Vista 32x ? i,ve heard K-Lite is good and Vistacodecs_v461 any views thxs

I installed K-Lite on here, its v good. It installs media player classic which I prefer and so far its ran everything I've thrown at it.

CCCP is the best. Its all you need to run .mkv files as well if you are struggling to play them. Make sure you configure it at the start of the installation. Theres a few things in there I didn't want it to try and do

Vista codec pack. It's basically ffdshow with a load of other codecs included so you'll be able to play pretty much anything in Windows Media Player: http://shark007.net/vistacodecpackage.html

It also has x64 components that you can download if you ever need a codec pack for Vista 64.

this.

other codec packs are just rammed together, this has a ton of settings pre-tweaked for you

but with ffdshow you can upscale vidoes :) k-lite with media player classic running ffdshow for me :D
