Hi, I am a hobbyist programmer (Doing degree in Computer Science also!)..

I thought you guys would like a very small minimalist video conversion app for free!
The aim of it is to keep it as small as possible with the least amount of options so any average joe can use it.
I made it over the weekend.

I need people test it and give feedback.. Made a little website for it:
http://avconvert.pynguins.com/

It runs on Linux also, but I am working on building a proper binary rather than launching from source for Linux.
A Mac port is in the works.
Tested and works on Windows Vista Ultimate x64 (Although its 32bit right now) but needs testing from others.

Tell me what you think :)

Edit: Note to dons, am I allowed to post this in Linux forum also when I have a Linux build? or should I just keep it here?

^^ haha, im here, i want to play in both... :D

Anyway cool to the OP, any reason for doing linux binary opposed to releasing source? (actually just noticed the source is up on the net and im being dense)

I'd go for a new thread in the linux world if you want some more linux testing too....

I do a lot file converting for my Archos 605 wifi, currently i use handbrake.

downloading now.... will let you know what i think.
