coders IRC server

Hey all
wondering if anyone knows any IRC servers that are mainly for coders or web development or something?

Wanted to know as would be a useful place to hang out to help others and get help alike, plus was thinking of getting everyone at work to jump on, as we are in 3 seperate buildings so would make sending links or IM'ing easier than email / getting up to go speak to them

eventually I will setup a local IRC server for office stuff, but until then anyone know anywhere we could start off?

Try Efnet.

EFnet is a riot (my home), Freenode tends to be policed better

Freenode is where most OS projects have their official channels (if such official channels exist)

mainly for visual basic stuff

cool, thanks for the responses

at the mo we are just sat on quakenet, though i did start on efnet but I kept getting k-lined for some reason. does it not like multiple clients on the same connection by any chance?

any servers with good php, and css rooms by any chance?
