RED BULL goodness

:) :) :)

Right...I'm back from coe y brenin after doing 'The Beast'. - 38,2km - climb 780m - Overall grade Extreme double black diamond.

UTTA MADNESS. Never have I been on such crazy downhill sections and evil climbs. Loved it but man it's a killer.I couldn't beleave that it was sunny but on some parts of the forest downhill it just went into pure darkness(glad I left my sunglasses)

If you love a challenge then dooo this. Forget the redbull and the other shorter routes.

This piccy was on the way back in and you can just see one of the many 'hills' that kill you in the distance.

I did the Karrimor trail and the Pink Heiffer I think it was called a long time ago on New Years day, on a bog standard cross country MTB lol no suspension at all, and some of the sections were absolutely killing me!! :D

Loved it though

I took Memory map with me on my PDA(gps) and it said I was a hero.....lol

Planning a day trip over to Wales later this month, to ride either Afan or Coed y Brenin.. Looking for 2 decent loops one in the morning one in the afternoon. Which would be best?

Have you been to Nant-yr-Arian? The Conti' route is all-dayer or you could do the two shorter routes before and after lunch.
