Random post as I'm really bored at work;
These appeared in the office - they might have been around for ages but theyre new to me - coffee...teabags

The package looks like a condom for an elephant, and the teabag is massive.

Made to instructions, produces a surprisingly drinkable cup of Italian coffee. Coffee snobs may indeed condemn this heresy, ipso facto, but I'd encourage you to try. The coffee tastes a lot better than instant - a quick google search yields theyre 18p per bag - I'd recommend, even if purely from a taste to effort ratio.

Hat-tip to french tart for interesting thread title.

A fella at work had some of these hi picked up abroad though i've not seen any in shops over here.

Not sure if it was the blend he had but they seemed to taste oddly like a mixture of tea and coffee and not particularly pleasant.

I remember my parents having coffee bags in a kitchen cupboard when I was a kid - mid 70s or thereabouts. No idea what the brand was or what they tasted like.

Someone here had them as well, i was a bit wtf, i made the tea and used one of these, i dont like coffee myself but it did smell quite nice

Elephants actually have fairly thin shafts in proportion to their body.

Tried it, though it was on par with a decent instant but certainly nowhere near strong enough.
