for the life of me i cant get my units to force fire..someone said i had to hold alt of shift i think but i just cant get it to work...any tips?

:(
 
I guess it could mean like firing at a point you know has enemy units but you can't see to target automatically ... or just if you wanted to blow up a building or something maybe?

Some units have the force fire button in their commands panel on the bottom right but I've never looked to see what the keyboard shortcut for it is.
 
Or have 3 moarter teams firing one after the other, making a constant barrage at a choke point?

Attack ground, yeah some units have that command, such as, Tanks, armoured Car, anti tank guns including Flak 88, infantry with Flamethrower, but not infantry with normal guns.
 
Rocket troops can also force fire, but as had been said normal riflemen cannot force fire

The command your looking for is the attack ground command on the interface
