CoH help

hey, i just bought CoH of the mm there but my god, i tried to play a skirmish today against the computer and i just get distroyed.

anyone want to suggest some tips of how to do well, the computer seems to be able to build a loaf od tanks really fast.

Have you completed the single player yet? not only is it a fantastic game it will also get you used to the different units.

That explains it then i was half way through the sp missions before i could hammer the pc skirmish opponents...so basically keep playing the sp

Control of resources (mainly oil) is very important. When you're playing against the computer, pretty much who ever gets tanks out first wins. If you're playing as the Americans, always upgrade to the BAR rifle so you get suppression, absolute life-saver

Spam out loads of these rifle men with BARs and you can't go wrong really. Spec airborne too. Being able to drop AA anyway in the map is very useful if they do manage to get tanks out before you.

Watch some replays of good players, you'll pick it up. By the way, you should really play more of the story, it gets very good

the axis ai will spam pioneers and then stugs... get counters to these ... a couple of jeeps will scare of his pio's decapping your points.. hold any bottlenecks on the map and get some early at like airborne or rangers to get rid of any early stugs.. remember to use the fire up ability to get behind the tanks... but dont click directly behind them as your ai is also retarded and you men will run into the tank and die like muppets

start on a simple campy map like lyon where you can hold the bridges with mg's until you are ready to attack
