How do i make a backup of a fully patched COH OF installation so that if a mod messes up that installation for example i don't have to go though hours of boring downloading/installing patches just copy and use the backup instead?

You could make a copy of the game folder, then paste it in after a basic install. Won't work if any of the patches change the registry though...

I'm not sure if this is still the case, but IIRC the updates that are downloaded are saved somewhere in your own personal files where replays and screenshots are saved.

It'll be kept in something like "My Documents/My Games/Company of Heroes/Patch"

Then each individual patch is included and can be ran as its own executable file.

Found the folder with the patches in it but only about 5 of them are .exe the rest are torrent files "FASTRESUME file" that don't do anything when clicked on and cant be patches because they are in the KB range what else do u suggest?

Well you won't have to download those 5 patches again at least. I have a lot more (11 total) but they stretch back a long time, back to version 2.100 and some of them are more incremental updates.

I'd hope now they'll have fewer updates but they'll be bigger in size obviously, so maybe you'll be OK. What version numbers do they go up to? The latest patch got released on Tuesday and is v.2.602.

The only thing I can suggest is what sr4470 said but don't know if that'll cause some issues.

Otherwise you'll have to download the rest of them if you come back to installing it unfortunately.

Whats a good site to download all coh of patches from 2100-2101 version?
