COH Update problem!

After getting immersed in TF2 and L4D for god knows how long, I have neglected COH too long and need to patch it to play online right?
1822mb patch downloading for hours(bloody internet ), and at 80% the download fails. Try to redownload? Game just terminates itself. Any solutions?

Okay I managed to figure out which version I have, an downloaded all each update in order from there.

Why are these updates so huge? 1.38GB and before there was a 1.82GB one!?
