Coil whine?

What psu do you have in your setup?

Your psu is good quality,so we can rule it out.
How loud is it?Does it occur durnig browsing web,when you move your mouse?

When I play game it get's quite audible.
Not under load or stress, FPS is capped too so it's not running at high FPS.. so, I dunno.
Edit: even when I don't play games, I hear the sound from my GPU.
Is there any way to fully confirm it's from the GPU? What can I do to turn the GPU off to check?

As far as I know people with gtx 970 which suffer from coil whine could RMA theirs gpu,so you should be able to.

Refunding it and got a new GPU.
A 290x vapor and it even does more coil whining.... when I'm not even doing anything I hear some audible coil whining...
wtf, am I supposed to do. Refund this as soon as I brought it..?
Are there any reliable GPU that doesn't make such audible coil whining..

Only Reliable GPU i personally know of is...
Asus R9 290X DIRECT CU II, worked on an XFX 550W Pro PSU.
Not a sound out of it, except when in heavy use. Then only Fan noise.
*coil whine seems to be a relatively new phenomenon, it maybe due to globalization, thinning out quality materials due to the demands of mass production.

Mind if i ask the exact brand & power rating of your PSU ?

Send it back detailing your problems and your entire system.
If/When you do get a refund, start a thread asking for opinions on what is the best card to get for your cash.
